Photograf Gallery Terms and Conditions for Exhibitions & Events 

1. Introduction Photograf Gallery is committed to fostering artistic expression while making a meaningful impact on the community. As part of our values, all exhibitions and events hosted at our gallery will include a charitable component, ensuring a fair distribution of proceeds that benefits artists, charities, and the gallery. 

2. Submission Process 

  • All exhibition or event proposals must be submitted via the official Exhibition Proposal Form. 

  • Proposals will be reviewed based on artistic merit, alignment with the gallery’s values, and feasibility. 

  • Successful applicants will be contacted for further discussions and scheduling. 

3. Revenue Sharing Structure All exhibitions and events at Photograf Gallery will adhere to the following revenue-sharing model: 

  • 40% to the Artist 

  • 40% to a Charity Partner (as agreed upon by the gallery and the artist) 

  • 20% to the Gallery 

This structure ensures that artistic contributions are valued while also supporting charitable initiatives and maintaining gallery operations. 

4. Charity Partnership Requirement 

  • Each exhibition or event must designate a charity that will receive 40% of the proceeds. 

  • The charity must be a registered non-profit organization and aligned with the values of Photograf Gallery. 

  • The gallery reserves the right to approve or suggest an alternative charity if necessary. 

5. Exhibition & Event Responsibilities 

  • Artist Responsibilities: The artist is responsible for preparing and delivering their works, marketing their exhibition in collaboration with the gallery, and engaging in public relations activities as required. An artist may request support in printing costs – please detail in the form.  

  • Gallery Responsibilities: The gallery will provide exhibition space, promotional support, and event coordination. 

  • Charity Responsibilities: The designated charity may be invited to participate in promotional activities related to the event. 

6. Costs & Expenses 

  • Any additional costs associated with framing, transport, and special installation requirements will be the responsibility of the artist unless otherwise agreed upon. 

  • The gallery will handle general exhibition logistics, including marketing and administrative support. 

7. Sales & Payments 

  • All sales of artworks or event tickets will be processed through the gallery. 

  • Payments will be distributed according to the agreed-upon revenue-sharing model within 30 days of the event’s conclusion. 

8. Cancellation & Rescheduling 

  • If an artist needs to cancel or reschedule an event, a minimum of 30 days’ notice is required. 

  • The gallery reserves the right to reschedule or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances. 

9. Agreement & Compliance 

  • By submitting an exhibition or event proposal, the applicant agrees to these terms and conditions. 

  • Failure to comply with these terms may result in cancellation of the exhibition or event.
